# Galaxus Shop MCP

MCP server for the [Galaxus](https://www.galaxus.ch) online shop. Connect your AI assistant to browse millions of products with real-time pricing, ratings, and reviews.

## Available Tools

### `search_products`

Search for products in the Galaxus catalog. Returns matching products with details like name, brand, price, description, properties, ratings, and review summaries.
The product catalog data is sourced from the same product database that powers the Galaxus online shop.

**Parameters:**

| Parameter    | Type   | Required | Description                                                                      |
| ------------ | ------ | -------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `query`      | string | Yes      | Search query — product name, brand, category, or any keyword                     |
| `agentInfo`  | string | Yes      | Name, provider, and model of the calling LLM agent (used for traffic monitoring) |
| `first`      | number | No       | Number of results to return (1–50, default 10)                                   |
| `minPrice`   | number | No       | Minimum price filter                                                             |
| `maxPrice`   | number | No       | Maximum price filter                                                             |
| `userIntent` | string | No       | The user's search intent, without personal information                           |

**Response fields per product:**

- `id` — product tracking ID
- `name` — product name
- `properties` — product variant properties
- `description` — product description
- `productType` — category name
- `brand` — brand name
- `priceIfAvailable` — price with currency (if available)
- `pageUrl` — direct link to the product page on galaxus.ch
- `ratingSummaryIfAvailable` — average rating and count
- `productReviewsSummaryIfAvailable` — aggregated pros and cons

## Supported Regions

Currently available only for **Switzerland** and **Liechtenstein** via `mcp.galaxus.ch`. Additional regions are planned.

## How to Connect

### Claude.ai (Web) and Claude Desktop

1. Go to **Settings** > **Customize** > **Connectors** > **Add**
2. Enter `https://mcp.galaxus.ch`

### Claude Code
